Elementary

The elementary German course teaches elementary level standard German with a focus on communication skills, basic grammar, and listening and reading skills necessary for success in introductory German as a foreign language. New language is introduced systematically and at a steady pace, allowing students to increase their knowledge of the language and build their confidence. By the end of this elementary course, you will be able to hold a basic conversation in German.

This level corresponds to the A1 level of The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

PRE-INTERMEDIATE

Pre-intermediate language course is a course for students who already have a solid foundation in the language. New language is introduced systematically, allowing students to extend and consolidate their knowledge of the language. New vocabulary is introduced regularly with a lot of practice activities, allowing students to immediately activate the language in a supported way.

This level corresponds to the A2 level of The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Intermediate

The intermediate German course is intended for people who already have some experience in German. The communicative emphasis gives students plenty of opportunities to put language into practice. By the end of this Intermediate course, you will be able to describe situations and events, write texts and coping with coherent language. You will be able to communicate quite confidently.

 This level corresponds to the B1 level of The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Business

Business courses are intended for second language learners working in any business context, who want to improve their general competence in German, using meaningful real-world contexts relevant to their professional working lives.  We will discuss your requirements and goals with you and come up with the best language training solution for you. This will take into account the time you have, your level, your expectations, your learning style and budget. By the end of the course, you will develop communicative fluency, accuracy, and confidence within a business context reflecting your specific working environment. Exam preparation

We offer the following Exam preparation courses:

  • Start Deutsch 1 certifies that candidates have acquired very basic language skills and corresponds to the first level (A1) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
  • Start Deutsch 2 corresponds to the second level (A2) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). It is proof that the learner can use sentences and common expressions in everyday situations.
  • Zertifikat Deutsch is the right exam for you if you already have a good basic knowledge of German. It tests general language competence and can be taken by anyone. At level B1 you can communicate in a simple and connected way in everyday situations while travelling and when talking about topics that are of personal interest. You can describe experiences, hopes and ambitions and give reasons for opinions.
  •  The TestDaF is an advanced-level language exam. It covers levels B2 to C1 on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). At level C1, you can express yourself spontaneously and fluently. You are familiar with idiomatic phrases and can vary your style of language as appropriate. You can use the language with a high degree of grammatical accuracy.
  • Zertificat C2 Centrale certifies that candidates have acquired extremely advanced language skills and corresponds to the sixth level (C2) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). You can understand with ease virtually everything you hear or read.  In speaking, you can express yourself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely. You rarely make mistakes.
